Getting Started

Get up and running with Algorand x EVM in a few minutes.

Prerequisites

  • EVM wallet like Metamask, Coinbase Wallet, Rainbow, etc.
  • Stablecoins (USDC, USDT, or USDe) on any supported EVM chain or a small amount of ALGO - see Fund Your Account for all options

Step-by-Step

1. Go to App

Navigate to an Algorand x EVM compatible dApp, or use this site's Manage Account interface.

2. Connect Your Wallet

Click Connect Wallet and select your preferred EVM wallet. You'll see your EVM address and your derived Algorand address.

3. Fund Your Account

Your derived Algorand address starts with zero balance. The easiest way to fund it is to bridge stablecoins from an EVM chain:

  • Open the Bridge panel, select your source chain and amount, and approve in your wallet

Alternatively, you can send ALGO directly:

  • Use the Receive panel to copy your Algorand address or scan the QR code
  • Send ALGO from an exchange, the TestNet faucet, or another Algorand wallet

4. Start Transacting

Once funded, you can:

  • Send ALGO or ASAs to any Algorand address
  • Receive by sharing your derived address
  • Bridge assets to and from EVM chains
  • Manage your opted-in assets

Each transaction will prompt your wallet to sign an EIP-712 typed data message scoped to the Algorand x EVM system.
